Dear Residents,
Sub: GB Meeting--Feed Back and Follow-up Actions
On 3rd May 2009, the Executive Committee (EC) discussed various suggestions and issues raised in the GB Meeting held on 26 April 2009 and decided to initiate following follow-up measures and actions:
a) A Committee comprising Major General (Retd.) R.S. Phagura, Wing Commander (Retd.) Suresh Gulati and Mr. V.R. Suri was constituted to examine various issues relating to closure of gates and make recommendations to reduce number of guards and other related matters.
b) All those who do not use stickers on their vehicles should be again requested, if required personally, to use stickers. Residents who do not use stickers are requested to collect these from Gate 1 and start using these with immediate effect.
c) To ward off monkeys, services of a Langur has been hired. Residents are requested to inform Gate 1 in case a monkey is sighted any where in the complex. Please cooperate in case the Langur Walla has to go up to the roof while chasing Monkeys.
d) Guards have been provided with “ lathis” and instructed to stop stray dogs from entering our complex.
e) Guards at Gates 2 and 4 have been instructed to sit outside their gates in the night and keep watch on the Cars parked outside on the road. Residents are requested to park their cars on the outside road between gate 3 & 5, and near Gate 2.
f) A group of residents comprising Mr.Y.R.Sharma, Mr. P.T. Gehani, Mr. P.D. Singh, and EC members- Mr. V.R.Suri, Mr. T.S.Chadha, Mr. Harish Sidana, Mr. R.C. Monga, and Mrs. Shanti Hemrajani was constituted to interact with the individual defaulters to realize arrears. Depending upon their availability, a team of three members including at least one member from other than EC members will visit the defaulters and report the outcome to the EC.
g) All pet dog owners are requested make arrangements to remove the litter and avoid taking them to the parks.
h) The President along with two members of the EC will look into all aspects of problems relating to clearance of malba etc. and damage caused to infrastructure because of haulage of construction material etc. Their recommendations and plan of action will be presented to the next GB meeting.

Happy to inform you that your Association has launched its website www.nilgirirwa.org for the convenience of the residents. The main purpose is to bring all residents on an online platform where they may interact with each other as well as with the RWA more easily through the medium of the internet. We will post all circulars on the website also.
Besides providing useful general information such as help line, some features of the website are given below:

 Discussion Forums have been installed and the residents are encouraged to take part in the forums.
 Buy and Sell/Share: Do business and share things within your neighbourhood.
 General Chit Chat: Talk on any topic of your interest here.
 Raise an issue: Raise an issue which concerns you as a resident of Nilgiri Apartments.
 House Change Status: To announce who has shifted recently or which house has been recently vacated.
 Maps and locations have been put up on the web site.
 A few games have also been put up for the kids.
 Important Phone numbers of the Nilgiri market have been put up. This list will be expanded gradually.
 A facility to Chat Online has been installed too.
 Opinion Polls can be created very easily by the residents and they are encouraged to take part in them too. The current question put up on the website is:
“What should be done about the stray dog problem?” You are expected to cast your vote online.

We are constantly adding new features and information on the site. Currently we are in the process of uploading more helpline numbers.
