security problem

hi

i lost my new stair and my nephew's bicycle from outside of my house in broad daylight.
its not the point that these things were expensive or not but it shows us that how good our security is.

In the past also thieves have broken into several houses (perhaps in broad daylight only). Our neighbors' house was broken into some 2 years back and a lot of stuff was stolen. Perhaps the security guys take their job for granted or perhaps we need to pay more to get better security. This issue was also raised in the last RWA meeting. The problem is that every one wants to have good security set up but not everyone wants to pay more money.

A proposal was also made to close some gates permanently. I am not sure what happened later on.
