4. Strict norms for no guest car entry

1. Nothing ! It's Perfect as it is
if it had been perfect no one would have ever raised the issue
2. Number the parking and allot each slot to each flat
will lead to conflicts amongst the residents and especially between residents and the guests
3. Number the parking and allot according to lucky draw
its just too foolish even to think about
4. Strict norms for no guest car entry
thats the best possible option i can see

car parking

i think we should have a car park no. for parking the car so that one knows where to park the car.instead of searching all the time to park the car and not getting any space. on many occasions i am not able to take out the car because other cars are parked in such a way that one cannot take out the car. it is very disgusting.
2. reg guest car we may allow entry to drop the members and also luggage pieces. and thereafter the car should be parked out side and not inside. 3. one attendant should be available in each parking zone so that he can help taking out the car as many a times we are not able to take out the car as other cars are parked in gear or there is not space to take out the car. this problem is very serious for ladies and senior citizens. 4. one shoud not mind to pay a monthly charge for this service after all attendant is to be paid for.

Car Parking

Dear Residents,
This is with regard to the questionnaire put up for vote on Parking of cars.
I feel that the questionnaire is premature. First we should carry out acquisition of the following data for cars:
1. Our colony is divided into zones. We should first ascertain the number of cars in each zone, by flat nos.
2. We should ascertain which parking lots are closer to each zone and how much is the capacity of each lot in number of cars.
3. Next we should try to fit only one car per flat in the parking lots close to each zone.
4. In case the capacity of 'vicinity parking lots' and the number of flats in
the respective zones match or the space is surplus, then the option of permanent allotment of one parking space to each flat would be feasible. In case the match is not feasible, other alternatives would be required.
5. Further, the space for second cars, in different zones, may be allocated anywhere in the colony, where the space is surplus. This allotment could be done on the basis of draw of lots and on payment.
6. Lastly, the cars still remaining over and above all the above, may have to be parked outside our gates. For this, adequate security must be provided.
Thanks,

RSP

No Reservations

I think that reservations will not be a very good idea. It will lead to a lot of discord and disharmony among the residents. Exactly who should be given which slot is going to be an issue difficult to settle.
People who do not get prime parking locations are gonna cry foul against the lottery system too!!

Parking Problem

Regarding the above comment "No Reservation":

1. Having ascertained the capacity of each parking lot, we should assign as many flats to it from its proximity. So, every home shall have its parking within easy access. Hence, these can then be allotted by lots.
2. What is a 'prime parking'? I do not think there is any such thing in our colony. As long as one has his car within easy access, that becomes the 'prime parking'.
3. For better appreciation of this solution, we first need the data suggested in my previous comment. Without that any further discussion may seem futile.

Thanks & Regards,

RSP

Pitampura has parking reservations

Hi
I was having a chat with my friend whose friend lives in Pitampura and he informed me they have the parking reservation system. I think our RWA should consult this RWA and ask them how this thing was implemented there. If the RWA wants, I can give the numbers of relevant people.
